Introduction
This Online Banking Agreement governs your use of the Online Banking Service that permits our customers to access a number of financial services through the use of the Internet. Also included in this document are the regulatory disclosures applicable to these services. Throughout this web site the Online Banking Agreement and Disclosure will be referred to as "Agreement". By using Online Banking, you agree to all of the terms of this Agreement. You must read this Agreement before enrolling in our Online Banking Service and initiating any electronic funds transfers via the Internet. By using Online Banking, you agree to all of the terms of this Agreement. Please read it carefully before following the link at the bottom of this page or accessing any of the Services. We recommend that you print a copy of this document for your records; however, if you cannot, contact us at the number provided below and we will mail you a copy.
Accounts and services provided by this financial institution may also be governed by separate agreements with you. This Agreement supplements any other agreements or disclosures related to your account (s), including the Deposit Account Agreement and Disclosure provided to you separately.
About Online Banking
Our Online Banking Service (“Service”) consists of an online banking web site that provides a complete array of financial services to our customers. Our Service allows you to access your account information 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND INSTRUCTIONS

The Online Banking Service may be setup/enabled with the following features:
Transfer Funds Between Eligible Accts. Obtain Balance Info. on Eligible Accts.

Online Banking Agreement
- I will be bound by the terms and conditions of Citizens First Bank’s DepositoryAgreement, which the Bank may amend from time to time.
- I understand that the passwords issued can be used to withdraw funds from my account(s) and that I must safeguard all passwords. I authorize Citizens First Bank and its agents to follow any instructions transmitted by use of these passwords, and agree to be bound thereby. I understand that I am solely responsible for maintaining the security and confidentiality of my passwords. I also understand that if I provide another person with the means and necessary information to obtain access to my account via Citizens First Bank Online Banking, I will be responsible for all transaction using that password until disabled or revoked in accordance with the Bank’s procedures.
- I authorize Citizens First Bank to disclose information about any of my Citizens First Bank accounts to third parties (including Payees) in order to complete transactions using Online Banking. I also authorize my payees to disclose to Citizens First Bank and/or its agents information regarding my account(s) with such Payees in order to complete transactions using Online Banking, including resolving questions regarding such transactions.
To change/disable/revoke your Password or a Password issued to your employees or other agents, or report an erroneous or unauthorized transaction, contact Citizens First Bank immediately.

Accounts
You may request Internet access to any account that you are a signer or owner on. If you desire services that allow you to initiate payments or transfers from the account, you will need the required withdrawal authority over the account to be able to complete the transaction. By using the Internet Banking Service, you agree to maintain one or more accounts with us and to keep sufficient balances in any account to cover any transaction and fees that are ultimately approved by or related to the system. If the accounts added to the service are jointly held or have multiple signers, you agree that access to the information and all transactions initiated by the use of your Access Code and Pass code are authorized unless we have been notified to cancel the service.
ELECTRONIC FUNDS TRANSFER AGREEMENT AND DISCLOSURES
This agreement and Disclosure is made in compliance with the federal law regulating electronic funds transfer (EFT) services. Electronic funds transfers are electronically initiated transfers of money involving an account at the Financial Institution. The following disclosures set forth your and our rights and responsibilities concerning the electronic funds transfers. In this agreement, the words “you” and “your” mean those who sign as applicants or any authorized user(s). The words “we”, “us” and “our” mean the Financial Institution.
ONLINE BANKING
Types of Transactions
You may access certain account(s) you maintain with us by computer using your assigned user ID and password by accessing the online banking service. You may use the Online Banking service to perform the following functions:
Transfer Funds Between Eligible Accounts
Obtain Balance Information on Eligible Accounts
Review Transactions on Eligible Accounts
Make Loan Payments
Advance Funds From Credit Line
Online Bill Payment
Fees and Charges for Online Banking Service
There is no charge for banking online with us.
Cancellation of Internet Banking
Your Internet Banking Service may be canceled at any time by this financial institution in whole or part without prior notice due to insufficient funds in one of your accounts or other circumstances that may create an unanticipated liability to us. You will remain responsible for all transactions approved by the system prior to the cancellation, and for any other fees associated with the service. After cancellation, service may be reinstated once sufficient funds are available in your accounts to cover any fees and other pending transfers or debits.
Our Liability for Failure to Make Transfers
If we do not complete a transfer to or from your account on time or in the correct amount according to our agreement with you, we will be liable for your losses or damages. However, there are some exceptions. We will NOT be liable for instance:
- If through no fault of ours, you do not have enough money in your account to make the transfer.
- If the money in your account is subject to legal process or other claim restricting such transfer.
- If the transfer would go over the credit limit on your overdraft line.
- If circumstances beyond our control such as natural disasters (fire, flood, tornado, etc) or other uncontrollable circumstances (mail delays, telecommunication outages, power failures, etc) prevent proper completion and delivery of transactions despite reasonable precautions that we have taken.
- There may be other exceptions stated in our agreement with you.
- Transfers made after 7 p.m CST will be credited the next business day.
Documentation and Verification Of Payments And Transfers
Information regarding Online Banking transactions will be reflected on the account detail in our online banking system and in your regular monthly account statement(s).
Notice of your Rights and Liabilities under the EFT Act
The EFT Act provides you with certain rights and responsibilities with respect to electronic fund transfers via our Internet Banking system. Your rights and responsibilities in the event of an unauthorized bill payment or unauthorized account transfer are disclosed below. Please read the following EFT disclosures carefully. You should print this document for future reference. Instructions for printing are provided below and in our User’s Service menu. You may obtain a hard copy of this document from us at any time by calling or sending us an email or upon request in person.
In case of Errors and Questions About Your Electronic Transfer
In cases of errors or questions concerning transactions completed within the Internet Banking Service, do one of the following, as soon as possible:
- Telephone us at 1-888-232-9901 or (270) 393-0700
- Write to us at Citizens First Bank, 1065 Ashley Street, Suite 200, Bowling Green, Kentucky 42103 as soon as you can, if you think your statement or receipt is wrong or if you need more information about a transfer listed on the statement or receipt. We must hear from you no later than sixty (60) days after we transmit the first statement in which the error or problem appeared. Please include the following information:
Name
Account Number and your Access ID
Description of the error or the transfer you are unsure about, and explain as clearly as you can why you believe it is an error or why you need more information.
Tell us the dollar amount of the suspected error.
If you tell us orally, we may require that you send us your complaint or question in writing within ten (10) business days.
We will determine whether an error occurred within 10 business days after we hear from you and will correct any error promptly. If we need more time, however, we may take up to 45 days to investigate your complaint or question. If we decide to do this, we will provisionally credit your account within ten (10) business days for the amount you think is in error, so that you will have the use of your money during the time it takes us to complete our investigation. If we ask you to put your complaint or question in writing and we do not receive it within ten (10) business days, we may not provisionally credit your account.
If a notice of error involves an electronic funds transfer that occurred within thirty (30) days after the first deposit to the account was made, the error involves a new account. For errors involving new accounts, or foreign-initiated transactions, we may take up to ninety (90) days to investigate your complaint or questions. For new accounts, we may take up to twenty (20) business days to credit your account for the amount you think is in error.
We will tell you the results within 3 business days after completing our investigation. If we determine that there was no error, we will send you a written explanation. You may ask for copies of the documents that we used in our investigation

Entire Agreement
This Agreement supplements any other agreements or disclosures related to your account(s), including the Deposit Account Agreement and Disclosures provided to you separately.
