Other Services Automatic Overdraft Privilege

We offer a very useful feature with our personal checking accounts: Automated Overdraft Privilege (AOP).  If you qualify and are approved for AOP, we will normally pay your nonsufficient funds debit items up to $500.  Whether you make a mistake in your checkbook, run short on cash between paydays, or have unplanned expenses, AOP will save you time, embarrassment and additional fees charged by others.  You will be charged the normal $30 per-item nonsufficient funds handling fee as set forth in our fee schedule, the same as if we returned the item unpaid.  This fee applies to overdrafts created by check, in-person withdrawal, ATM withdrawals, or other electronic means.  Any and all bank fees and charges, including without limitation, the nonsufficient funds fee, will be included in this negative balance.

Features/Benefits:
- Overdrafts up to $500 may be paid, with regular overdraft fees applied.
- Customer has up to thirty days to bring the account to a positive balance.
- If customer cannot bring account to positive balance, an interest-free repayment plan is available.
- During repayment period, the AOP privilege is suspended.
- After repayment, customer may requalify for the plan.
- Whether your overdrafts will be paid is discretionary, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts.

Costs:

The normal overdraft fee of $30 will be charged for each nonsufficient funds (NSF) item paid. NSF fees are included in the $500 overdraft amount.
