Benefits  

At Citizens First, we understand that there are many factors to consider when you’re making employment decisions.  Most people want a position in which they can perform at their best, grow as a professional, and be rewarded for their efforts.  In addition, we understand that benefits are a big part of that decision.  We work hard to attract and retain top talent and our benefits package reflects that.  Following is an overview of what that package may include.*

Work-Life Balance and Leave Programs

  1. Vacation – We provide a competitive vacation schedule to all full-time employees according to length of service and/or position.
  2. Holidays – We recognize 10 holidays in accordance with the Federal Reserve System.
  3. Sick Leave – All full-time employees will be eligible for a maximum of 7 sick days per calendar year.
  4. Workers’ Compensation – This program covers any work-related injury or illness sustained in the course of employment that requires medical treatment.
  5. Military Leave – Any leave required to fulfill a military obligation will be granted in accordance with federal law.
  6. Jury Duty – Employees who are summoned for jury service will be allowed the necessary time off with pay.
  7. Bereavement – Full-time employees will be excused from work with pay up to three days.

 

Health and Wellness Benefit Plans

  1. Health Insurance – We provide two levels of medical and prescription coverage to all full-time employees.  Coverage is provided through the Center Care network. 
  2. Dental Insurance – We understand that good dental health is important, and we provide comprehensive dental coverage to all full-time employees that includes routine cleanings, fillings, x-rays, and orthodontic care.
  3. Vision – The vision plan covers routine eye exams as well as benefits for eyeglasses and contacts.
  4. Life Insurance – We provide basic life insurance at no cost to full-time employees.   This coverage is equal to one times annual salary.  In addition, we offer employees the opportunity to purchase additional life insurance for them and/or their family.
  5. Disability Insurance – Disability coverage includes benefits for both short-term and long-term disabilities.

Retirement Plan

Citizens First offers its employees the option to participate in our 401(k) Profit Sharing Plan and Trust. 

Participating in the plan is easy.  Each pay period you can defer a portion of your pay to your plan account through payroll deduction.  Citizens First also makes a matching contribution to your account.  Both your deferrals and the employer-matching contributions are invested in the investment options that you select.

Employees are eligible to start participation the first of the month following 90 days of employment.
